Octopus Ventures is one of Europe's most active experienced venture capital firms, and has invested in more than 100 companies since its 1999 founding. Octopus Ventures invests in both enterprise and consumer-focused startups, and participates from Seed (typical investment $1m) to Series A (typical investment $4m). Our team knows what it is like on the other side of the fence. Before joining Octopus, many of the team established themselves in other industries, from consumer goods and professional services to technology and telecoms, and several launched and sold their own startups.
