Navis Capital is an Asian-based private equity investor that focuses on buyouts and restructurings in companies with a strong or growing presence in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Australia. Navis focuses on control investments and has completed more than 70 buyouts in Asia since its founding in 1998. Navis has one of the largest private equity teams in Asia and is one of the most well known and active investors in the region. Navis contributes both capital and management expertise to its portfolio companies with the objective of directing strategic, operational and financial improvements, typically through initiatives that drive growth, margin improvement and asset efficiency. Navis' investment model places a low reliance on leverage to drive its equity returns. All Navis' companies are leaders or near leaders in their fields.
