Battery Venture's venture capital practice invests in seed and growth-stage technology companies, and looks for potentially cutting-edge, category-defining businesses in markets including application software, IT infrastructure and consumer Internet/mobile. In private equity, Battery provides highly flexible capital that can participate in buyouts of family or founder-owned companies, public to privates, and divisional carve-outs of business units. Our deep technology expertise differentiates us from other investors. In private equity we look for companies with revenue between $5m and $200m who can become global technology leaders.
